If you didn't think coffee could get any better, it can! We partnered with Salida, Colorado's Bearded Man Coffee to offer CBD-infused blends exclusively through Extract Labs. Choose from multiple flavors that come in convenient compostable pods or whole bean options. Whole bean bags include 250 milligrams of CBD, while each pod contains a 20-milligram dose.

CBD INFUSED COFFEE

CBD coffee adds a wellness bonus to your daily cup of joe. Many people choose CBD for its calming effects, making it a great match for caffeine that is known to cause jitters and buzziness when overdone. The average person drinks about two cups of coffee per day. Thirty-three milligrams of CBD is our standard dose, so for the pods, we split the difference at 20 milligrams to allow the opportunity for multiple cups. We balanced the whole bean bags with 250 milligrams, so you can enjoy an extra boost of focus while avoiding potential sleepiness from higher doses of CBD.

WHY PUT CBD IN COFFEE?

There are different ways to add cannabidiol to a cuppa—a few drops from a tincture or a sprinkle of isolate—but with Bearded Man Coffee, the work is done. Each pre-mixed and measured pod  contains 20 milligrams of isolate, which is a pure powder form of CBD. Caffeine is energizing, while CBD can be relaxing. Used together at the right dose can create a jitter-free cup.

CBD COFFEE PODS

Common k-cups on the market are not only wasteful, they are often full of stale grounds. Roasting coffee causes CO2 to form inside the bean, and it takes a couple of days for the CO2 to release, a process called off-gassing. Other brands have to wait for the off-gassing time to end before filling the airtight plastic cups with grounds, or else the pods would explode. Bearded Man’s breathable pods allow freshly roasted grounds to degas right inside the cup. The pods give the Colorado company the ability to roast and ship in the same week, delivering coffee to the consumer fresher and faster. The same innovative pods allow coffee to brew and bloom inside the cup, similar to a French press. Plus, the bamboo-based k-cups are biodegradable, removing the problem of excess waste that is synonymous with their name. The pods work with all Keurig 2.0 machines. It is incompatible with some 1.0 machines.
